Mahone Bay Nova Scotia, Canada
On our way into Lunenburg yesterday we passed through Mahone Bay in the pouring rain and saw scarecrows of all types hanging from trees, in front yards, in front of business, on roofs, nailed to trees, they were everywhere. So when the sun came out today we had to return and photograph some of them just for fun.
The Great Scarecrow Festival is held every year and the town folk certainly display their community spirit and creativity in these forms.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through town smiling all the way. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
