We spent a morning at Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park some of us under the shade of a palm tree while others wading through the shallow water looking for and finding fish.

Care had to be taken while walking along the beach where turtles blended into the sand and rocks.  Even in the water sometimes they appeared like rocks, their shells barely breaking the surface of the water so you could walk right up to one thinking it was a rock.
