Redmond to Paris

We are very excited to begin our exploration of Morocco a country rich with history, tradition, art, culture and cuisine and we hope to learn more about all of it.

Our itinerary will take us from the Mediterranean Sea to the Riff Mountains, across the High and Middle Atlas Mountains to the dunes of the Sahara and then the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, exploring the labyrinthine medinas, village markets, cosmopolitan cities and farms and the simple life of the nomads.

We spent a night in Paris to let our bodies recover from the 11-hour flight.  By the time we reached the hotel we were exhausted, checked in, so very happy that our room was ready. After next to no sleep on the flight we fell into bed for a 3-hour nap.  After a quick shower we wandered down to the bar for a light but fantastic supper of roasted thyme salmon, sorrel cream, fennel with wakamé and a caesar salad with anchovies, it was delicious then a really good night sleep.
